cHTML

Short for compact HTML, which is a subset of HTML for small devices, such as mobile phones and PDAs. The main features of HTML, which cHTML doesn't include because of the hardware restrictions of the small devices, are JPEG images, tables, image maps, multiple character fonts and styles, background color and image, frames and style sheets. It allows all the basic operations to be done by a combination of four buttons instead by two-dimensional cursor movement. cHTML was created by Japan-based Access Company, Ltd. in 1998 for i-mode devices.
