Introduction:

It is not rare for companies to launch on the market devices intended just to supplement a certain series or even collection of the fans of the respective trademark. The device we are going to discuss in the present review is of this specific kind. This is Motorola H670 – a headset, which emphasizes its similarity in color and design with another product of the same company - MOTOKRZR K1.
The manufacturer has shown even on the box that this is a headset which „perfectly complements your MOTOKRZR K1 phone”. Naturally, this does not mean that you cannot use the headset with other phones, but it is designed to perfectly fit K1.

It is a standard set, which is not extravagant and does not contain needless extras. The three earhooks of different sizes guarantee that you will find the one suitable for you.

Design:

Motorola H670 has the following dimensions: 62 x 24 x 19 mm (2.4 x 0.9 x 0.75 inches) and is offered in three color options: black, cosmic blue and dark pearl grey; the device which we are going to test today is of the cosmic blue variation. As we have already mentioned, Motorola has emphasized on the fact that the design and the color of the headset is made to match the MOTOKRZR K1, which is a good approach of the company, since thus the owners of the phone will be able to complement their set of accessories.



There are three buttons in total (call key and two volume keys) to manage the headset. The buttons can be distinguished by their mirror silvery color. They are positioned very well and working with them is no problem, as it is very pleasant and easy to press all of them without making any effort and they have a good tactile feedback. Apart from pushing the call key, you can slide it (up/down), thus using is as an on/off key. Except for this key, on the front side of the headset is located a multicolor indicator, which produces a different light (blue, purple and red) depending on the current state of the device.



The only mobile part of the headset is the standard earhook, which is used for many models of the company. It is made of an elastic plastic, and where it touches the ear it ends with a soft dark grey rubber. The earhook moves in two directions only without being able to turn around as it is possible, for example, in some of the Jabra models. The earhook is well fastened to the device and there is no danger of falling. This movement in two directions only is quite limiting, since you are not able to additionally adjust the headset upwards or downwards.



In order to improve the quality and the power of the sound the manufacturers have made the headset speaker convex so that it goes into the entrance of the ear duct, and in order to make wearing the headset more comfortable, it is covered in the same soft grey rubber as is the earhook.
